Peter Ferrara

Peter Ferrara is currently the Business Operations Manager, Director's Office & ES&H at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Peter has previously served as the Acting Chief Financial Officer and Fiscal Officer (Controller) at Brookhaven National Laboratory/Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC. from July 2015 to February 2016 and January 2007 to March 2020 respectively. Prior to that, they were the General Accounting Manager at Brookhaven National Laboratory/Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC. from April 2000 to January 2007.

Peter has gained a wealth of experience in financial management and operations through their various roles at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Peter has been instrumental in representing BNL's interests at various meetings, such as the NLCFO and Battelle CoP meetings, and has gained invaluable perspective on the business matters being discussed. Their role as Acting CFO has helped him gain a lab-wide perspective.

Through their more than 20 years of experience at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Peter has established himself as a key leader in financial management and operations. Their experience and expertise are greatly valued by the organization, and they continue to make significant contributions to the Lab's success.

Peter Ferrara graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University. Peter went on to get their certification as a Chartered Global Management Accountant and then as a Certified Public Accountant.
