Richard Porqueddu

Richard Porqueddu is an experienced Project Engineer at Brookhaven National Laboratory since 2008, overseeing the operation and maintenance of motor generator sets and helium screw compressors for the Alternating Gradient Synchrotron. A recent Fellowship at GE Vernova involved combustion design, focusing on predicting flashback and NOx generation for hydrogen fuel in turbine power generation. Richard has also contributed to the Yellow Jacket Space Program as an Engine Development Team member and held senior design roles at various engineering firms, including Dayton T. Brown, Inc., Frequency Electronics, and Thomas C. Wilson, LLC. Richard holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Norwich University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Norwich University.
