Sharon Lall-Ramnarine

Sharon Lall-Ramnarine serves as a Tenured Full Professor of Chemistry at Queensborough Community College of The City University of New York (CUNY) since January 2004, with responsibilities that include teaching, research, and community service, in addition to mentoring undergraduates and securing grant funds. In various roles at CUNY, including Faculty Fellow for Research Activities and Campus Research Integrity Officer, Sharon promotes research initiatives and responsible research conduct. Sharon also has experience at Brookhaven National Laboratory as a Tenured Associate Professor, engaging in collaborative research on ionic liquids and mentoring students. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master's of Philosophy in Analytical Chemistry from The Graduate Center, CUNY, and a Master's of Arts in Chemistry from Queens College, complemented by a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Guyana.
