Steve Boose

Steve Boose has a extensive work experience in engineering roles. Steve started their career in 1977 as a Test Technician at Veeco Instruments and then worked as an Engineer Aide Technician at Hazeltine and Republic Electronics. In 1987, they became a Technical Specialist at Quantronix Corp. Currently, Steve is employed at Brookhaven National Laboratory where they have been working since 1992. Steve holds the position of Principal Electrical Engineer and focuses on electronics engineering in support of high energy physics detector systems.

Steve Boose has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, which they obtained between the years 1989 and 1996. Prior to that, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Fine Arts, specializing in Music, from Suffolk County Community College from 1984 to 1986. Their earliest formal education was an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Electronics Technology from Farmingdale State College, from 1974 to 1976.
