Tony Wong

Deputy Director, Scientific Data & Computing Center at Brookhaven National Laboratory

Tony Wong has over 20 years of work experience in the field of scientific data and computing. Tony started their career as a Post-Doctoral Associate at Academia Sinica in Taiwan from September 1995 to February 2000. Tony then joined Brookhaven National Laboratory in March 2000 and worked as a Staff member in the RHIC-ATLAS Computing Facility until September 2005. Tony Wong then became the Group Leader of the same facility from October 2005 to December 2017. Currently, they hold the position of Deputy Director at the Scientific Data & Computing Center in Brookhaven National Laboratory starting from January 2018.

Tony Wong holds a Ph.D. in High Energy Physics from Iowa State University. Tony also has an M.S. in High Energy Physics from Texas A&M University and a B.A. in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Pennsylvania.
