Christa Lanning

Christa Lanning's work experience includes various roles in event planning and management. Christa is currently the Director of Event Strategy at The Brookings Institution starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Private Contractor for various events and planners since January 2008. From August 2018 to April 2022, they served as an Events and Branding Manager at NDC Partnership. From August 2015 to July 2018, they were the Events and Sales Manager at The Governor Thomas Bennett House. Christa also has experience as a Sales and Events Coordinator at Ooh! Events from March 2014 to August 2015, and as an Assistant Sales Associate at Occasions Caterers from January 2012 to May 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Scheduler and Executive Assistant at Podesta Group from November 2008 to December 2011, and at the Office of Congressman Henry Cuellar from February 2008 to November 2008.

Christa Lanning earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Mount Union between 2002 and 2006.
