Laura Fuentes

Laura Fuentes (von Wahlde) is a seasoned procurement professional currently serving as Procurement Manager at The Brookings Institution since March 2022, having previously held the role of Procurement Analyst. Prior experience includes a tenure at the World Cocoa Foundation from June 2017 to March 2022, where Laura excelled as Operations Manager and held multiple roles as Senior Operations Associate and Operations Associate. Earlier, Laura contributed to Bindaas Restaurant and Ardeo Bardeo Restaurant as a Server/Event Assistant, providing high-level customer service for formal events. Academic credentials include a B.A. in International Relations with a German minor from Boston University, a Master’s degree in Global Affairs from the University of Buckingham, and a study abroad program in German Studies at Technische Universität Dresden. Leadership experience includes serving as President and Editor in Chief of the Pre-Law Review at Boston University.
