Mitchell Wein

Mitchell Wein has a strong background in finance and administration. Mitchell currently holds the position of Senior Vice President for Finance and Chief Operating Officer at The Brookings Institution. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance, Treasurer at Haverford College from 2014 to 2022. Before that, they were the Vice President, Finance and Administration, Treasurer at Lafayette College from 2007 to 2014. Mitchell also has experience in the investment banking sector, having worked as a Managing Director at UBS Paine Webber/UBS Investment Bank from 2002 to 2007 and at PNC Capital Markets, Municipal Securities from 1987 to 2002.

Mitchell Wein has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Arizona State University. Mitchell also holds a Master of Science degree in Public Policy and Industrial Administration, with Distinction, from Carnegie Mellon University.
