Vanessa Williamson

Vanessa Williamson is a prominent Fellow at The Brookings Institution since July 2015 and an author of the notable work, "The Tea Party and the Remaking of Republican Conservatism." Vanessa's career includes significant roles at Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, where Vanessa served as Policy Director and Field Director from 2006 to 2009. Vanessa's educational background includes a PhD in Political Science from Harvard University, obtained between 2009 and 2014, as well as a Master's degree in French Studies and a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Literature from New York University, completed in 2004 and 2003, respectively.
