Kathleen Baynes, CIA, CFE, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial and operational auditing. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at Brookline Bancorp Inc since March 2020, Kathleen previously held the position of Staff Accountant within the same organization. Kathleen's career encompasses various roles, including Accounting Consultant and Internal Auditor at multiple firms, where responsibilities ranged from creating journal entries and reconciling accounts to executing internal audit programs and ensuring SOX compliance. Kathleen holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from Bentley University, along with certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
