Joseph M. Castillo, also known as Joemca, has a diverse work experience in the field of sound and audio engineering. Joemca started their career in 2006 as the Owner/Operator of Joemca Sound, providing sound design and music services on a freelance basis. In 2008, they joined Inkfish Art as a Resident Sound Designer/Composer for an experimental puppet theater company.
In subsequent years, Joemca worked for various companies and organizations, gaining valuable experience in audio engineering. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a part-time Audio Engineer at Tinc Design and Productions, and later joined Crossley Acoustics as a Sub Contractor/Freelance Tech, specializing in studio/audio wiring builds.
In 2013, Joemca also worked as an Audio Engineer at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, and in 2014, they contributed as an Audio Engineer at Brooklyn Academy of Music and Ars Nova.
