Mecca Madyun (she/her/hers)

Mecca Madyun has worked as an Education Manager at Brooklyn Academy of Music since January 2019. Additionally, they have also taken up the role of Education Manager/EDI Facilitator at the same company during the same time period. Prior to this, they served as a Lead EDI Facilitator/Grant Writer at Creative Strategies for Change from August 2012 to November 2017.

Mecca Madyun, who uses she/her/hers pronouns, completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine and Studio Arts with a focus on Graphic Design at the University of Pennsylvania from 1997 to 2001. Later, from 2011 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Dance with a specialization in Somatics/BMC at the University of Colorado Boulder.
