Alexa Cassaro

Alexa Cassaro is an experienced professional in the visitor services and artistic fields. As the Visitor Services Coordinator at Brooklyn Botanic Garden since March 2020, Alexa has advanced from the role of Visitor Services Assistant, enhancing visitor experiences. With a background in providing exceptional customer service at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Alexa engaged guests by facilitating ticket sales and delivering knowledgeable insights about the museum's history. In addition to visitor services, Alexa has been a freelance illustrator and comic artist since May 2015, producing original and fanfiction LGBTAI+ comics and animated content. Previously, roles included comic artist for Geeks OUT and Digital Embroidery Tech at Supreme Silk Screen & Embroidery. Alexa’s educational credentials include a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Illustration and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts.
