Aviva Magder-Pascaris

Aviva Magder-Pascaris is an experienced educator and program coordinator with a focus on environmental education and youth engagement. Currently serving as a School Programs Educator at Brooklyn Botanic Garden since April 2025, Aviva previously held the position of Youth Engagement Coordinator at GrowNYC, overseeing youth programs related to food access. Additional roles include Curriculum Specialist at Start:Empowerment, Science & Garden Program Coordinator at Red Hook Playgroup Inc, and various leadership positions at Sprout Up, where Aviva managed national university-led chapters and partnerships. Earlier experience includes multiple roles at Brooklyn Botanic Garden and community education initiatives at Brooklyn Public Library. Aviva holds an M.Ed. in Environmental Education from Bard College and a B.A. in Visualizations of Life Sciences with a minor in Environmental Studies from New York University.
