Christine DeMauro serves as the Urban Advantage Program Manager at Brooklyn Botanic Garden since April 2023, following a distinguished tenure at the Wildlife Conservation Society from October 2011 to March 2023, where responsibilities included creating, coordinating, and facilitating professional development for educators and liaising with urban educational programs. Previous roles include Substitute Teacher at the NYC Department of Education, Adjunct Instructor at Hofstra University, and various positions in administrative and educational support. Christine holds a Master of Science in Biology with a focus on Marine Biology from Hofstra University, along with an Advanced Certificate in Secondary Education in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Francis College.
