Sonal Bhatt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and interpretation within cultural institutions. Currently serving as the Vice President of Education and Interpretation at Brooklyn Botanic Garden since March 2009, Sonal transitioned from the role of Director of Interpretation and Exhibitions. Prior experience includes holding the position of Assistant Director of Interpretive Programs at Wildlife Conservation Society from March 2004 to March 2009 and serving as Assistant Curator of Natural History at Peabody Essex Museum from 1999 to 2003. Sonal has furthered knowledge in museum leadership through the Museum Leadership Institute in 2012 and the IDEAL Center in 2019-2020, following the attainment of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Marine Sciences from Boston University in 1996.
