Tracey Faireland is an accomplished Vice President of Planning, Design, and Construction at Brooklyn Botanic Garden since October 2008, leading the "Campaign for the Next Century." Additionally, Tracey has maintained a self-employed role as a Professional Engineer and General Contractor focused on residential construction and renovation since November 2003. As a freelance writer, Tracey contributes insights on green roofs and rooftop gardens. Previous experience includes serving as a Project Manager at The Clark Construction Group from April 1998 to October 2003, overseeing significant projects such as the Walter E. Washington Convention Center and the US Mint Headquarters. Tracey holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clemson University and completed Master's coursework in Ocean Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
