Kristin Spain has a diverse work experience that includes roles in both accounting and banking. Kristin started their career at TD Bank Group in 2006 as a Part-Time Teller, where they quickly demonstrated their skills and was chosen for additional training to fulfill a full-time position. Kristin then advanced to the role of Assistant Head Teller, providing management support to the head teller and other branch staff. In 2009, they became the Branch Head Teller, responsible for supervising, training, and motivating staff, as well as handling operational management tasks.
In 2010, Kristin transitioned to Brooklyn Brewery, where they held various accounting roles. Kristin began as a Staff Accountant, responsible for a wide range of tasks including expense allocation and tax paperwork preparation. Kristin then became an Accounts Receivable Specialist, managing the recording and reconciliation of sales and revenue, as well as cash receipt management. In 2016, they were promoted to Accounting Manager, overseeing the Accounting Department of the brewery and reporting directly to the Assistant Controller. Finally, in 2018, Kristin assumed the role of Director of Accounting, where they managed the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department and played a key role in the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning system. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on achieving financial goals.
Kristin Spain completed their education in a chronological order. Kristin earned a High School Diploma with an Advanced Regents Diploma from Susan Wagner High School between 2002 and 2006. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island, which they completed between 2006 and 2010. Finally, from 2012 to 2014, Kristin earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from Wagner College.
