Emily Preuss

Emily Preuss is a seasoned mental health professional with diverse experience in therapeutic settings. Currently serving as a School Based Therapist at Innovative Therapeutic Services, LLC since March 2023 and a Telehealth Therapist at Brooklyn Center for Psychotherapy, Inc. since January 2022, Emily provides psychotherapy to middle school students and clients aged 12-60, respectively. Previous roles include Social Worker at the Center for Court Innovation, where services included needs assessments and crisis intervention, and Clinical Fellow at The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, focusing on trauma-informed care for children and teens. Additional experience includes individual counseling for high school students at The Children's Village and community education regarding healthy relationships at the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence. Emily holds a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and Psychology from the University of Michigan.
