Hugh Ash

Hugh Ash is an accomplished trumpet educator currently serving as a Trumpet Lecturer at Ithaca College since August 2018, focusing on private instruction for the IC NYC program. Additionally, Hugh has been a Trumpet Teacher at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music since September 2017 and has maintained a self-employed freelance trumpet performance career since January 2017. Prior to these roles, Hugh worked as an Editorial Office Manager at Nature Publishing Group from August 2007 to January 2016. Hugh holds a Master's degree in Music Performance from Purchase College, SUNY, and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from Ithaca College.
