Amy Mulzer

Amy Mulzer is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Senior Staff Attorney for Law & Appeals at Brooklyn Defender Services and as an Elie Hirschfeld Family Defense Fellow at NYU School of Law's Family Defense Clinic since August 2018. Previously, Mulzer held positions as a Staff Attorney and Instructor of Clinical Law at Brooklyn Law School, Appellate Attorney with the Assigned Counsel Panel, and Acting Assistant Professor of Lawyering at NYU School of Law. Mulzer's extensive background also includes roles at The Bronx Defenders, Brooklyn Family Defense Project, Legal Aid Society, and a judicial clerkship with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mulzer earned a Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Bard College.
