Anya Mukarji-Connolly

Anya Mukarji-Connolly has extensive work experience in the legal and policy fields. Anya currently serves as the Director of Policy and Advocacy at Brooklyn Defenders, where they previously held roles as the Associate Director of Policy, Senior Supervising Attorney & Policy Counsel, and Supervising Attorney. In 2021, they were a Fellow at Leadership Fellows New York. Anya was also a 2019 92Y Women inPower Fellow and a 2017 Shriver Center Racial Justice Institute Fellow.
