Hayley Ross serves as a Senior Staff Attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice at Brooklyn Defenders, a position held since September 2020, after previously working as a Staff Attorney in the same practice. Prior experience includes legal internships at the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo, Inc., Brooklyn Defender Services, and The Legal Aid Society of NYC, as well as a law clerk role at the Federal Public Defender's Office in the Western District of New York. Hayley also contributed as an AmeriCorps VISTA Development & Communications Assistant at the Buffalo Urban League. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University at Buffalo School of Law and studies at Brooklyn Law School, with an undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo.
