Jenny Kronenfeld

Jenny Kronenfeld serves as the Senior Director of Interdisciplinary Practice at Brooklyn Defenders since March 2024. Previously, Jenny was the Executive Director at Esperanza NY, Inc from 2002 to March 2024, where responsibilities included founding and leading the Alternative to Incarceration program for youth in New York City. From 1997 to 2002, Jenny held the position of Deputy Director and Supervisor at The Bronx Defenders, contributing to the establishment of the office and overseeing a team of attorneys. Jenny began a legal career as a Staff Attorney at Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem from 1992 to 1997. Educationally, Jenny holds a JD from the City University of New York School of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Hunter College.
