Guided by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, Brooklyn Heights Montessori School is a diverse community committed to educational excellence serving students in preschool (age two) through grade 8. BHMS is jointly accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools (NYSAIS) and the American Montessori Society (AMS). It is the only school with this dual accreditation.
