John Nay is the Founder and CEO of Norm Ai, a Regulatory AI Agent company supported by major investment firms. Currently serving as a Fellow at CodeX, the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, John leads research on aligning artificial intelligence with human needs. Additionally, John holds the position of Visiting Scholar in Artificial Intelligence & Law at Vanderbilt University Law School, where AI and Law research is conducted, along with teaching relevant courses. As Co-founder and Chairman of Brooklyn Investment Group, John transitioned from CEO to focus on launching Norm Ai, having raised over $20M in equity capital for the AI-powered investment software platform. John also contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York University, co-creating and co-teaching a pioneering course on AI. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University and a Post-doctoral Research Fellowship from New York University.
