Chyna Grant-Williams

Chyna Grant-Williams is a technology operations associate at Brooklyn Laboratory Charter School since July 2023, with a diverse background in technology and user experience. Previous experience includes roles as a volunteer at HelpUsDefend in 2023, tech ops engineer and data verifier at Ocrolus from February to October 2022, and patient care coordinator at Dentistry at the Heights between January 2021 and February 2022. Chyna served as a user experience designer at Queeery from July 2020 to March 2021, and as an API researcher during a capstone project at the University at Albany, SUNY in early 2020. Additional internships involved maintaining equipment and facilitating projects at the university’s Makerspace, as well as a data analysis internship focused on assessment reports and website maintenance. Early career roles include operations assistant positions at Uncommon Schools and participation in a coding program with Girls Who Code. Chyna holds a Bachelor of Science in Informatics with a concentration in Interactive User Experience from the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity.
