Sophy Naess is a seasoned educator and artist currently serving as a Lecturer and Graduate Coordinator at Yale University School of Art, as well as an Adjunct Instructor at Cooper Union and an Assistant Professor at Rutgers University. Sophy Naess has extensive experience in teaching various art disciplines, including painting, sculpture, and color theory, and has been instrumental in adult and children's art education at the Brooklyn Museum. As a freelance illustrator and art director, Sophy Naess has maintained a comprehensive portfolio while also contributing to academic institutions as an adjunct professor and coordinator since 2005. Sophy Naess holds an MFA in Fine Art from Mason Gross School of the Arts and a BFA in Painting from The Cooper Union.
