Taylor Maatman

Taylor Maatman is an experienced communications and public relations professional with a strong background in the arts sector. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Director of Public Relations at the Brooklyn Museum since April 2018, Taylor has held progressively responsible roles, including Senior Manager of Public Relations. Additionally, Taylor has been the Assistant Director at FITZ & CO since 2013. Prior experience includes positions at Artnet, LaPlaca Cohen, Blue Medium Inc., MIR Appraisal Services, Chicago Botanic Garden, and Holly Hunt. Taylor Maatman holds a Master of Arts in Visual Arts Administration from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
