Sam Koch

Sam Koch is a Litigation Associate at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, where he maintains a diverse practice with an emphasis on complex civil litigation and white collar criminal and regulatory defense.

He also dedicates significant time to pro bono matters and has made numerous appearances in Family Court, Immigration Court and Housing Court. Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Sam clerked for the Honorable Barry T. Albin of the New Jersey Supreme Court. Sam attended law school at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was the Managing Editor of the California Law Review, Associate Editor of the Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law, and a volunteer teacher at a juvenile detention center. Before law school, Sam taught second and third grade at River East Elementary School (P.S. 37) in East Harlem, New York as a Teach for America corps member. In addition to holding a J.D. from Berkeley Law School, Sam holds an M.S. in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Pace University and a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy from Northwestern University. Sam has served on the Board of Directors for the California Law Review, and as a member of the Education and Law Committee and Charter School Subcommittee of the New York City Bar Association.
