Adwoa Adusei is an experienced library and archival professional with a strong background in arts and culture. Currently serving as the Manager of the Arts & Culture Library at Brooklyn Public Library since September 2015, Adwoa oversees the operations of two branches, supports library staff, and enhances community programming related to graphic novels and manga. Prior experience includes positions as Lead Archivist at Balmori Associates, Adjunct Curator for Reference Services at Bobst Library, and Volunteer Archivist at Plainfield Public Library, among others. Adwoa holds dual master's degrees in Art History and Library & Information Science from New York University and Long Island University, respectively, along with a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Bard College.
