Chris Aitken

Chris Aitken has over 23 years of experience in applications engineering and vacuum technology. Currently serving as Senior Director of Global Applications Engineering at Brooks Automation since June 2006, Chris has progressively advanced through roles including Director and Senior Manager. Early career experience includes pivotal roles at Scientific Vacuum Systems Ltd. and Loughborough University, where Chris developed innovative deposition processes and facilitated knowledge transfer for commercial production. An education background includes a BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Surrey and participation in the MIT Sloan Executive Education program.
