Ulysses Gilchrist

Ulysses Gilchrist is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as Vice President of Engineering for New Product Development at Brooks Automation since February 2024. Prior to this role, Ulysses held the position of Head of Engineering and Operations at Volta Labs, Inc. from June 2023 to February 2024. Ulysses has extensive experience at HighRes Biosolutions, where Ulysses served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Engineering from February 2015 to June 2023. Ulysses's tenure at Brooks Automation began in 1995 and spanned various roles, including Vice President of Robotics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Manager, until February 2015. Earlier career experience includes working as a Research Engineer at MIT CSAIL from 1998 to 1999 and as a Mechanical Engineer at Brooks Automation from 1995 to 1998. Ulysses holds both a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Northeastern University.
