Nick Cantrell

Nick Cantrell is a seasoned footwear designer with extensive experience in the industry, currently serving as a Senior Footwear Designer at Brooks Running since October 2020. In this role, Nick is part of the Inline Footwear Design team, focusing on innovative design processes. Previous positions at Brooks include 3D Designer II and 3D Designer, where Nick contributed to integrating 3D modeling and developing surface design languages. Prior to Brooks, Nick operated a freelance design practice, providing various services in product creation and computational design. Additional experience includes an Innovation Internship at Under Armour, a Maker Lab Technician role at the University of Oregon Graduate School, co-founding Foudu Built, and serving as a Wildland Firefighter. Nick holds a Master's degree in Sports Product Design and a Bachelor's degree in Product Design, both from the University of Oregon.
