Alessandra De Cicco has worked in the food industry since 2002. Alessandra began their career as a Nutrition Supervisor/Diet Technician at the Medical Center at Princeton in 2002. In 2003, they took on the role of Associate Regulatory Coordinator at Robertet Group, where they were responsible for researching FDA and global legality of raw materials, completing customer questionnaires, and calculating and reporting nutritional labeling and ingredient statements of finish products. In 2008, they became a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Pinnacle Foods Corporation, where they provided regulatory support to product developers and marketing of US and Canadian foods, submitted documentation of US and Canadian frozen meat and poultry entree products to USDA for pre-market label approval, and reviewed and approved raw material ingredients for US and Canadian. In 2014, they took on the role of Regulatory Manager at MetaBrand, LLC. In 2020, they began working as both Regulatory Manager and Regulatory Specialist at Brookside Flavors and Ingredients.
Alessandra De Cicco's education history consists of a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from Rutgers University, obtained between 2000 and 2002, an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Raritan Valley Community College, obtained between 1998 and 2000, and a Culinary Arts/Chef Training program from the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, obtained in 2016-2017. Additionally, De Cicco holds certifications in Yoga Teaching (200 hours) from Essential Yoga School (2016), Certified Nutritional Consultant from The American Association of Nutritional Consultants (2016), Reiki Master Practioner (2015), ServSafe Food Handler from the National Restaurant Association (2020), HACCP Manager's Workshop from American Food Safety, and Internal Auditor Workshop from American Food Safety.
