Thorsten Esser

Thorsten Esser is an experienced executive in the automotive engineering sector, currently serving as Executive Managing Director and Executive Vice President Engineering at Brose Sitech Group since February 2022, with global responsibility for technological strategy and innovation in vehicle interiors. Previously, Thorsten held various leadership roles at Adient, including Executive Director Engineering overseeing Complete Seat development projects in the EMEA region and expat positions in Changchun, China, managing joint ventures and engineering teams. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Johnson Controls and Same Deutz-Fahr Group, with a strong focus on application engineering, product development, and team leadership. Thorsten holds a Dipl. Ing (FH) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cologne University of Applied Sciences.
