Brotherhood Mutual
Matt Hirschy joined Brotherhood Mutual in 2008 as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. He became treasurer in 2009 and assumed his current position in July 2018.
Before coming to Brotherhood Mutual, Hirschy spent four years as the chief financial officer at a Fort Wayne, Indiana, biomedical firm. He also spent the previous 15 years as a certified public accountant, serving 12 years at a local accounting firm and three years at Ernst & Young, LLP.
Hirschy holds an accounting degree from Manchester University and earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in 1989. In 2016, he received his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation. He attends Pathway Community Church, where he serves on the finance team. Hirschy also serves on the advisory board for the Northern Indiana Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
