Altaf Hussein

Altaf Hussein is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in youth engagement, community leadership, and operational roles. Currently serving as a Youth Engagement Coach at Brotherhood of St Laurence, Altaf empowers young talents through mentorship and guidance. As the Founder and Chairperson of the Victorian Afghan Youth Association, Altaf leads initiatives aimed at fostering cultural heritage and supporting Afghan youth. Previous roles include Team Supervisor at Delaware North and General Online Team member at Woolworths Supermarkets. Altaf has held significant leadership positions, including President of the Afghan Association of Victoria and Founder/Chairperson of the Qaim Society of Victoria, focusing on community development and project management. Educational qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Computer Engineering from RMIT University. Additionally, Altaf has experience as a public speaker, enhancing awareness on various topics at schools and events.
