Dina Bowman

Principal Research Fellow, Work And Economic Security at Brotherhood of St Laurence

Dina Bowman has extensive experience in research and policy in the field of work and economic security. Dina is currently the Principal Research Fellow at the Research and Policy Centre, Brotherhood of St Laurence, where they lead projects on sustaining empowerment and economic dignity for women, as well as research on social security and financial distress. Dina is also an Honorary Principal Fellow at the School of Social and Political Sciences, University of Melbourne, and has served as a member of the executive for The Australian Sociological Association from 2013 to 2014.

Dina Bowman holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Melbourne. Dina also completed a Post grad Diploma in Policy and Law at La Trobe University. Dina further pursued their education at Swinburne University of Technology, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Sociology.
