Tom Harrington

Tom Harrington has a diverse work experience in law enforcement and security. Tom started their career in 1988 as an entry-level patrol officer with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, where they served in various roles such as SWAT, Street Narcotics, Vice, Internal Affairs, and Administration. Tom eventually retired from the department in 2013 as an Assistant Chief of Police. From 2013 to 2019, they worked at the Broward Sheriff's Office as a Colonel, overseeing the Department of Administration and managing responsibilities such as finance, budget, purchasing, information technology, and more. Since 2019, they have been the Director of Security at Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
