Dorothy Fahrner-Sterrett

Dorothy Fahrner-Sterrett is an experienced educator currently serving as an ESE/VE Teacher at Boca Raton Community Middle School since August 2023. With a long-standing role as an Adjunct SLS Professor and Temporary Advisor at Broward College since August 2005, Dorothy has also held positions teaching at the Academy For Positive Learning from December 2018 to August 2023 and as an ESE Teacher at University Preparatory Academy from February 2016 to June 2017, focusing on students with disabilities. Prior to these roles, Dorothy worked as a Counselor at Henderson Mental Health Center from August 1988 to May 2001. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Education from Barry University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, complemented by an Associate of Science in Psychology from Broward College.
