Lori M. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lori began their career in 2003 as the Director of Counseling & Family Ministries at New Mount Olive Baptist Church, where they served for 13 years. In 2016, Lori joined Albizu University - Miami Campus as an Adjunct Professor. During the same year, they also started working at Broward College as a Career Coach. Lori later transitioned to the role of Director of Career Services at Broward College in 2019. Currently, Lori is the Project Director for the Promise Neighborhoods Grant at Broward College, where they lead a team in managing a $30 million grant.

Lori M. has a Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Albizu University - Miami Campus, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Lori also holds a MAMFT (Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy) from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, earned from 1999 to 2002.
