Mark Sherman

Mark Sherman serves as the Associate Dean of Aviation Maintenance at Broward College since July 2015, overseeing a $4 million annual operational budget and managing daily operations for a faculty and staff of over 20, while providing instruction to more than 250 aviation maintenance students. Previous positions include Aviation Department Chair at Texas Southern University, where administrative responsibilities were held, and similar roles at the Higher Colleges of Technology and Farmingdale State University of New York, where notable achievements included eliminating a significant operating deficit and increasing the operational budget. Mark Sherman's academic background includes multiple degrees in Aviation and Education from institutions such as Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Missouri, culminating in a Doctorate in Aviation & Space Management.
