Delroy Thompson

Delroy Thompson is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in teaching and promoting the welfare of students, particularly those with special needs. Currently serving as a Gifted Education Teacher with Broward County Public Schools since August 2015, Delroy specializes in teaching World History to 6th graders and contributes as a member of the School Advisory Council. As an author with Alice Publishers since 2012, Delroy focuses on children's literature. Previous teaching roles include positions at Forsyth County Schools and Palm Beach County School District, where Delroy delivered standards-based instruction and adapted curricula to meet diverse learning needs. Delroy's range of experience includes work as a Vocational Rehabilitation Technician, County Representative for the Rehabilitation Council, and Education Assistant in Kauai School District, where Delroy implemented a successful Peer Mediation program. Delroy holds a Master's degree in Counseling Studies from Capella University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science and History from Thomas Edison State University.
