Dr. Latonya L. Cooper has extensive experience in education, with a career spanning from January 2000 to the present at Broward County Public Schools, where responsibilities have included roles as School Principal, Assistant Principal, and Elementary School Teacher focused on 4th and 5th grades, as well as Curriculum Specialist. In addition, Dr. Cooper has served as an Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University since March 2017 and previously worked as a Reading Resource Specialist with the Nova Southeastern University Alumni Association from August 2006 to August 2014. Dr. Cooper holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in English Language and Literature from Florida Atlantic University, obtained between June 1995 and December 1999, and has pursued further education at Nova Southeastern University and the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
