Ana Miranda

Dance/movement Therapist, Salah Foundation Children's Hospital at Broward Health

Ana Miranda is an accomplished independent performing arts professional with extensive experience as a dancer and choreographer since 2004, focusing on experimental flamenco and contemporary dance. In addition to performance, Ana serves as a dance/movement therapist at Salah Foundation Children's Hospital and Miami Jewish Health, supporting pediatric patients and elderly individuals. As a teaching artist with Young Audiences Arts for Learning, Ana engages with early childhood and K-12 students, including those with disabilities. Ana has also held teaching positions at the University of Miami and Miami Dade College, imparting knowledge in dance history and therapy. Formerly the president and founder of Art Works for Us, Inc., responsibilities included securing grants and community engagement, alongside a previous role directing Hispanic services at Memorial Healthcare System. Ana holds an MFA in Choreography, an MA in Dance/Movement Therapy, and a BA in Psychology.
