Alex Tanouye

Alex Tanouye is a seasoned fiduciary and estate planning professional currently serving as the Head of Fiduciary and Partner at Brown Advisory since July 2022. In this role, Alex leads fiduciary oversight and tax teams, collaborating with Private Client leadership to advance the fiduciary business. Prior experience includes positions at Northern Trust Corporation as Senior Fiduciary Officer and Senior Legal Counsel, where expert guidance was provided in trust and estate law. Alex's extensive background also encompasses roles at Northern Trust Wealth Management and Pasternak & Fidis, P.C., with a focus on proactive trust and estate planning solutions. Alex is a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and Georgetown University Law Center, complemented by military experience as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve.
