Brian Cobb

Brian Cobb is the current Chief Technology Officer at Brown Advisory. Prior to their current position, Brian served as Managing Vice President of Technology at Capital One from July 2011 to January 2015. Before working at Capital One, Brian was the Senior Vice President and Head of Mortgage Operations for Single Family and Multifamily Business at Fannie Mae from January 2000 to December 2011. Brian has also worked at Suburban Hospital and Year Up. Brian began their career at Brown Advisory.

Brian Cobb started their educational career by obtaining an executive certificate in management and leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Brian then obtained a Master of Science in financial management and information systems from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Brian Cobb also has a graduate certificate in financial management in organizations from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition, they have completed graduate studies in computer science from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Brian Cobb also holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial and systems engineering from Kettering University. Brian has also obtained certificates in Amazon Web Services and information security from Montgomery College. Brian Cobb also has a Java programming certificate from Montgomery College. In addition, they are a graduate of the Mortgage Bankers Association's School of Mortgage Banking and is certified as an Accredited Mortgage Professional by the Mortgage Bankers Association.
