Gustavo de Los Reyes

Gustavo de los Reyes serves as the Chief Information Security Officer at Brown Advisory since May 2016. With extensive experience at AT&T from May 1988 to May 2016, Gustavo held multiple senior positions, including Executive Director of Security, where the establishment and leadership of the AT&T Security R&D Team occurred, focusing on advanced security measures against high-value assets. Additional roles included Director of the Multimedia and Content Security Center of Excellence, Lead and Principal Member of Technical Staff, and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, demonstrating expertise in security protocols, VoIP services, and process improvement. Gustavo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, specializing in data networks.
