Karina Funk

Karina Funk, CFA, is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in sustainable growth and clean technology. As a Portfolio Manager at Brown Advisory since January 2007, Karina manages a concentrated portfolio of companies poised for success in a resource-constrained environment. Prior to this role, Karina served as a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Winslow Management Company, which was acquired by Brown Advisory. Early career experience includes positions as Investment Manager at Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust and Principal at Charles River Ventures, focusing on clean technology, as well as a managerial role at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Karina holds a Master of Science in Technology and Policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has studied energy economics at École Polytechnique, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University.
